What we found, what we did, and how it turned out.
Years of moisture had gotten behind the original vinyl siding, causing soft spots near the foundation and warping around window trim. The homeowners wanted a durable, fire-resistant material with a more contemporary look.
We removed all existing siding, repaired the underlying sheathing, added a weather-resistive barrier, and installed James Hardie lap siding with matching trim in a two-tone color scheme. New flashing was added above every window and door.
